Common Modes Explained

Auto mode sets everything automatically. Program (P) mode selects aperture/shutter speed but allows other adjustments. Scene modes (e.g., Portrait, Landscape, Night) optimize settings for specific scenarios.

  • Start with Auto mode for simplicity.

  • Experiment with Scene modes for specific situations like portraits or landscapes.

  • Explore Program (P) or other semi-auto modes as you gain experience.
